Called Up to Penguins Roster for Depth Support

Avery Hayes was one of two forwards recalled by the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday to bolster the team's depth for their game against the Ottawa Senators. Hayes did not see any ice time during the 4-3 shootout victory, as the existing skating lineup remained intact with Anthony Mantha able to participate. However, with captain Sidney Crosby sustaining a lower-body injury during the game, Hayes may be called upon to fill a role in the lineup for the Penguins' upcoming matchups.
