Records Three Points in Shootout Victory Over Senators

Rickard Rakell was a major offensive contributor for the Pittsburgh Penguins in Thursday's 4-3 shootout win against the Ottawa Senators, tallying two goals and an assist. Rakell's performance was essential for a Penguins squad that had to overcome the mid-game loss of Sidney Crosby. By contributing to three of the team's four goals, Rakell helped Pittsburgh secure two critical points and climb to second place in the Metropolitan Division standings as the playoff race intensifies.
