Returns to Ice in Non-Contact Jersey Following Season-Ending Injury Report

Alexander Romanov returned to the ice for the New York Islanders' morning skate on Thursday, wearing a non-contact jersey. This appearance offers a glimmer of hope for the team's playoff aspirations, directly following an earlier report that the defenseman was sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a hit sustained against the Dallas Stars. While he remains out of the lineup for Thursday's game against Dallas, his presence on the ice suggests a potential shift in his recovery timeline.
