Arvid Soderblom Confirmed as Starter for Road Game Against Islanders

Arvid Soderblom will defend the road cage for the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday as they take on the New York Islanders, per Stefen Rosner of NHL.com. Soderblom gets the nod for this inter-conference matchup on Long Island. The young goaltender will be under pressure to perform against an Islanders team fighting for playoff positioning. The Blackhawks are hoping Soderblom can provide a stabilizing presence in net to give their offense a chance to capitalize on the road and secure a tough victory.
