Casey DeSmith Starts Against Vegas

Casey DeSmith started in net for the Dallas Stars during Sunday's home contest against the Vegas Golden Knights. In the 3-2 loss, DeSmith was unable to stop a tiebreaking goal from Reilly Smith with 3:38 left in the third period, which denied the Stars their bid to clinch a playoff berth. The goal ricocheted off two Dallas players before landing near Smith, leaving DeSmith defenseless on the play.
