Sidney Crosby Returns to Penguins Lineup with Goal and Assist

After missing 11 games due to a lower-body injury sustained at the 2026 Winter Olympics, Sidney Crosby returned to the Penguins' lineup for Wednesday's matchup against Carolina. Crosby was activated off injured reserve and made an immediate impact, recording both a goal and an assist in his first game back. Despite his productive return, the Penguins ultimately fell to the Hurricanes in overtime following a late goal by Sean Walker.
