Brayden Schenn Settling Into Islanders Lineup After Trade
Acquired from the Blues for a package including a 2026 first-round pick, 34-year-old center Brayden Schenn has recorded two assists in four games with the Islanders. Averaging 16:40 of ice time, he has won 53.5% of his face-offs while contributing four blocks and nine hits. Coach Patrick Roy continues to experiment with his linemates, including Barzal and Holmstrom. Schenn, who has two seasons remaining on his contract at $6.5 million annually, has seen the team go 3-1-0 since his arrival.
