Kirby Dach Exits Game Following High Hit

Montreal forward Kirby Dach sustained an upper-body injury during Sunday's game against the Anaheim Ducks after being struck by a high hit from Jeffrey Viel. The incident occurred three minutes into the first period in the Anaheim end. Dach fell to the ice, clutching his face, before heading to the bench and eventually the dressing room. Viel was not penalized on the play, which prompted later confrontations from teammates Arber Xhekaj and Josh Anderson.
