Set to Earn First Start of the Season Against Knicks

Malevy Leons is slated to make his first start of the season Sunday against the New York Knicks. He joins Brandin Podziemski, Will Richard, Gui Santos, and Quinten Post in the Warriors' opening unit. While his raw season totals are modest, Leons has been productive on a per-minute basis, averaging 10.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.4 blocks per 36 minutes. This starting opportunity offers a chance for the forward to showcase his defensive versatility.
