John Leonard Recalled by Red Wings Under Emergency Conditions

The Detroit Red Wings recalled forward John Leonard from AHL Grand Rapids on Saturday under emergency conditions. The move provides necessary depth at center as the team navigates injuries to Dylan Larkin and Andrew Copp. Leonard has recorded two goals and four points in nine NHL appearances this season. During his time with the Griffins, he has been highly productive, leading the team with 27 goals and 41 points across 34 games.
