Canucks Trade Josh Bloom to Oilers in Prospect Swap

The Vancouver Canucks have traded forward Josh Bloom to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for forward Jayden Grubbe. Bloom, 22, was a third-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and has spent time this season with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings, where he tallied 15 goals and 13 assists in 19 games, as well as 19 games in the AHL with the Abbotsford Canucks. Due to the timing of the trade, Bloom is ineligible to play in any NHL games for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.
