MacKinnon Major Penalty Rescinded; Leads Avalanche to 5-1 Win

The NHL has rescinded Nathan MacKinnon's five-minute major for goaltender interference against Connor Ingram, clearing him of automatic suspension risk. Following this, MacKinnon led the Avalanche to a 5-1 road victory over the Seattle Kraken. He recorded a primary assist on Martin Necas's 30th goal and was involved in a play that resulted in a second Colorado goal. MacKinnon continues to be a central offensive force as Colorado prepares for Saturday's game against Winnipeg.
