Bam Adebayo Defends Historic 83-Point Performance Amid Backlash

Bam Adebayo remains unapologetic following his NBA-record 83-point performance against the Wizards, which included 36 free-throw attempts. Dismissing criticism that the effort was disrespectful to Kobe Bryant's legacy, Adebayo and coach Erik Spoelstra defended the strategy, citing Washington's defensive lapses and the team's injury-depleted roster. Adebayo followed the historic outing with 21 points in a win over the Bucks, maintaining that he is focused on chasing greatness.
