Arturs Silovs Struggles in 6-2 Loss to Vegas

Arturs Silovs started in goal for the Penguins on Thursday, stopping 11 of 17 shots in a 6-2 loss to the Golden Knights. The 24-year-old netminder, who entered the game with a 14-8-8 record, a 2.84 GAA, and an .897 save percentage, could not contain the Vegas offense. Despite his recent form—posting a 4-1-0 record over his previous five starts—he was unable to help Pittsburgh overcome the deficit, as the team fell to 2-6-0 all-time at T-Mobile Arena.
