Semyon Varlamov Ruled Out for Remainder of 2025-26 Season

New York Islanders goaltender Semyon Varlamov has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury. The 37-year-old has not played since undergoing knee surgery in December 2024. Varlamov has one year remaining on the four-year contract he signed in July 2023. His future status remains uncertain as the team moves forward without him for the rest of the campaign.
