Jalen Brunson Burden Increases Amid Knicks' Bench Struggles

Jalen Brunson has averaged 37.8 minutes over the past five games, the highest mark in the NBA during that stretch, as the Knicks struggle to find consistent production from their bench. While Brunson's shot efficiency has dipped—connecting on 40% of attempts and 33% of 3-pointers recently—the team remains reliant on him due to the underwhelming play of reserves and injuries to key rotational players like Miles McBride.
