Mackenzie Blackwood Slated to Start Against Oilers

Blackwood is expected to start in goal for Tuesday's home game against the Oilers. The 29-year-old has featured in 10 of the Avalanche's last 14 games, posting a 5-4-0 record with a 2.50 GAA and one shutout during that stretch. Blackwood is currently closing in on the 20-win threshold for the second consecutive season, needing just two more victories to reach that mark.
