Khaman Maluach Making Impact as Suns Backup Center

Rookie Khaman Maluach has earned consistent minutes as the Suns' backup center while Mark Williams recovers from a foot injury. Maluach has shown defensive growth, recently recording a five-block game against the Pelicans followed by a nine-rebound, two-block performance against the Hornets. As the team evaluates its rotation, Maluach is being recognized as a strong interior presence, providing a different skill set than starter Oso Ighodaro.
