JJ Redick Praises Deandre Ayton's Defensive Impact Against Knicks

Deandre Ayton delivered an impactful defensive performance in Sunday's win over the Knicks, despite a modest box score of six points and eight rebounds. Head coach JJ Redick lauded his effort, noting his pursuit of loose balls and rim protection. According to NBA matchup data, Karl-Anthony Towns shot just 1-6 with Ayton as the primary defender.
