Adrian Kempe Nets Overtime Winner in 5-4 Victory Over Blue Jackets

Adrian Kempe propelled the Kings to a 5-4 overtime win against Columbus, scoring two goals including the game-winner 2:26 into the extra period. His 25th goal of the season was the highlight of a back-and-forth contest, where he also converted a rebound earlier in the game. The victory moves Los Angeles within one point of the final Western Conference wild-card spot, as Kempe delivered the decisive slap shot from the left circle to secure two crucial points for his team.
