Lane Hutson Chasing Larry Robinson's Historic Point Record

Montreal Canadiens defenseman Lane Hutson is enjoying a stellar sophomore campaign, currently on an 85-point pace over 82 games. With 11 goals and 53 assists for 64 points, the 22-year-old is threatening the franchise record for points by a blueliner set by Larry Robinson in 1976-77. Despite concerns regarding a sophomore slump, Hutson has significantly improved his goal-scoring output from his rookie season and continues to demonstrate elite offensive production and elusiveness.
