John Carlson Nears Debut, Expected to Travel on Road Trip

Carlson, who has been sidelined with a lower-body injury, is set to join the Ducks on their upcoming four-game road trip. While he is not expected to make his debut until the end of the trip, the team's schedule—which concludes next Sunday in Montreal—suggests he is nearing a return. He missed his fifth consecutive game Sunday against the Blues and is unlikely to play Saturday in Ottawa due to the back-to-back nature of the schedule.
