Dominik Shine Nets First Career NHL Goal in Red Wings Victory

Dominik Shine scored his first career NHL goal in Sunday's 3-0 win against the New Jersey Devils. Recalled from the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins in late February, the 32-year-old forward converted on a centering feed from James van Riemsdyk with 9:36 remaining in the third period. This appearance marked Shine's fifth NHL game of the season and the 14th of his career, providing a key offensive boost to help Detroit end its two-game winless skid.
