John Leonard Recalled to Red Wings Amid Larkin Injury

The Detroit Red Wings have recalled forward John Leonard from the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins. This marks his third promotion to the NHL this season. Leonard has been a standout performer in the AHL, recording 41 points in 34 games. His recall comes as captain Dylan Larkin deals with a lower-body injury. Leonard has previously appeared in nine games for Detroit this season, recording four points, and will look to solidify his role as a reliable depth option during this stint.
