Brayden Schenn Debuts for Islanders Following Trade

Brayden Schenn officially joined the Islanders after waiving his no-trade clause, aiming to bolster the team's playoff push. He debuted in a 2-1 overtime win against San Jose, logging 17:26 of ice time with one shot and a blocked shot. Coach Patrick Roy expects Schenn to provide leadership and mentor young players like Cal Ritchie. Schenn is set to face his former team, the St. Louis Blues, in his next outing on Tuesday.
