Evgeni Malkin Serving Five-Game Suspension

Evgeni Malkin was unavailable for Saturday's matchup against the Philadelphia Flyers as he begins serving a five-game suspension. The Penguins struggled to generate consistent offense in his absence, ultimately falling 4-3 in a shootout. The team is currently navigating a difficult stretch, as they were also without captain Sidney Crosby due to a lower-body injury.
