Blackhawks Acquire Veteran Defenseman Derrick Pouliot

Defenseman Derrick Pouliot was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks by the New York Rangers as part of a deadline-day deal. The 32-year-old has not played in the NHL since the 2023-24 campaign and did not suit up for the Rangers after signing a two-year, $1.55 million contract last July. The move provides Chicago with veteran defensive depth as they continue their roster transition.
