Pyotr Kochetkov Could Return from Hip Injury for Playoffs

Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov (hip) may return in time for the playoffs, according to reports. Kochetkov has been sidelined since December 20 and was previously expected to miss the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign. While Brandon Bussi is expected to maintain the starting role for the rest of the regular season, Kochetkov's potential return would impact the playing time of Bussi and Frederik Andersen. He holds a 6-2-0 record this season.
