Roope Hintz Suffers Lower-Body Injury After Returning From Illness

Roope Hintz's return to the lineup was short-lived as he exited Friday's game against Colorado with a lower-body injury following a collision with Nathan MacKinnon. Hintz had just been cleared to return after missing four games due to an illness. Before his absence, he was productive with a goal and seven assists in eight games. The 29-year-old's status for Sunday's game against the Blackhawks is now in question, with the injury potentially being more concerning than his recent illness.
