Islanders Reluctant to Move Top Prospects for Kyrou

The New York Islanders are reportedly hesitant to include their 2025 first-round picks in a potential trade for St. Louis Blues forward Jordan Kyrou. The Islanders view their top prospects, including Victor Eklund and Kashawn Aitcheson, as untouchable assets. Aitcheson, an OHL standout, was recently named February's OHL Defenseman of the Month for the second consecutive time, further solidifying the team's desire to retain their high-end young talent.
