Vanecek Secures 100th Career Win with Shutout Against Flyers

Vitek Vanecek earned his first shutout of the season and the 11th of his career in a 3-0 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. The performance marked his 100th career NHL win, as he stopped 16 shots in the contest. Vanecek, who had seen limited action recently, provided a strong backbone for Utah, which has now won two straight games and five of its last seven. He was the first goalie off the ice during morning skate, signaling his return to the starting role.
