Ville Husso Shines With 42 Saves in 5-1 Win Over Islanders

Ville Husso delivered a standout 42-save performance to lead the Ducks to a 5-1 victory over the Islanders on Wednesday. Stepping in as the primary netminder following Petr Mrazek's season-ending injury, Husso faced heavy pressure, particularly in the second period, and currently holds a 6-5-1 record. His strong play comes amid ongoing speculation that the Ducks are pursuing additional goaltending depth before the trade deadline. He stopped 16, 13, and 13 shots per period respectively.
