Golden Knights Acquire Cole Smith from Predators for Depth

The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired forward Cole Smith from the Nashville Predators in exchange for defenseman Christoffer Sedoff and a 2028 third-round pick. Smith, a 30-year-old winger, brings experience and reliability to Vegas' bottom six, with six goals and four assists in 42 games this season. Known for his defensive reliability, physicality, and ability to suppress chances, Smith reunites with former teammate Colton Sissons and fits Vegas' identity.
