Flyers Should Pursue Simon Nemec Trade

The New Jersey Devils are fielding calls on defenseman Simon Nemec as they work through their defensive logjam. The Philadelphia Flyers could pivot to acquire Nemec, potentially by dealing Rasmus Ristolainen, and replace him with a younger, more talented option. Names like Bobby Brink, Owen Tippett, Tyson Foerster, and Noah Cates make sense for the Devils. Nemec, 22, has 21 points in 47 games this season and has taken a real step forward at both ends of the ice.
