Ty Jerome (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Portland. The Memphis Grizzlies guard is being held out for right calf injury management, particularly as it marks the second leg of the team's back-to-back schedule. His next opportunity to play will come Saturday against the Clippers. With Jerome sidelined, along with Scotty Pippen, the Grizzlies are extremely shorthanded, leaving significant minutes available for Walter Clayton, Cam Spencer, and Javon Small.
