John Gibson Sidelined With Upper-Body Injury
John Gibson of the Detroit Red Wings is sidelined Wednesday with an upper-body injury, not expected to be long-term. He has been active recently, playing in eight of the last nine games with a 3-3-1 record and 2.14 GAA. Cam Talbot will start in his place, with Sebastian Cossa serving as backup. Gibson left Monday's game against the Predators after a puck hit his shoulder. Coach Todd McLellan stated Gibson is day-to-day.
