Nikita Grebenkin Deletes Instagram Due to Flood of Maple Leafs Fan Messages

Flyers forward Nikita Grebenkin revealed he deactivated his Instagram account due to an overwhelming flood of messages from Toronto Maple Leafs fans following his trade from Toronto to Philadelphia nearly a year ago (March 7, 2025). Drafted by the Leafs in 2022, Grebenkin became a fan favorite for his personality and viral postgame quote after his Nov. 20, 2024 NHL debut. In 46 games this season, he has 4 goals and 8 assists, logging 8:44 of ice time and a minus-1 in Monday's 3-2 OT win against his former team.
