Sherwood's Game-Winning Goal Lifts Sharks Over Canadiens

Kiefer Sherwood scored the tiebreaking, game-winning goal on a power play with 3:26 remaining, securing the San Jose Sharks' thrilling 7-5 victory over the Montreal Canadiens. This marked his first goal as a Shark and was fueled by the "infectious" energy from the home crowd. The eight-year NHL veteran also made a savvy poke-check on the boards in the offensive zone, leading to an assist for Alex Wennberg, which was highlighted as his most impressive play of the evening. Sherwood praised the team's resolve and the crowd's energy in snapping a four-game skid and pushing into the playoff race.
