Michael McCarron Traded to Wild for 2028 Second-Round Pick

Michael McCarron was traded from the Nashville Predators to the Minnesota Wild for a 2028 second-round pick. The 6-foot-6 center, 30, was a late scratch from Nashville's lineup before the trade. He recorded five goals, 12 points, 86 shots, 165 hits, and 65 blocked shots in 59 games this season. McCarron, who won 52.8% of his faceoffs, will bolster Minnesota's depth and physicality up the middle.
