Elias Pettersson Linked to Detroit Trade Rumors

Elias Pettersson, 27, is reportedly being explored by the Vancouver Canucks for a trade, with the Detroit Red Wings showing aggressive pursuit. Despite signing an eight-year, $11.6M AAV contract, his production has dipped from a projected 50-point pace, down from his previous 100-point seasons. Detroit possesses the draft capital and prospects to construct a significant package for the center.
