Penguins Weigh Trade Options for Goaltender Stuart Skinner Ahead of Deadline
Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Stuart Skinner is reportedly on Frank Seravalli's trade target board as a pending UFA, with the NHL trade deadline approaching this Friday. Acquired from Edmonton in December, Skinner has performed well, winning eight of nine starts before his last two losses, and ranks sixth among all goaltenders in goals saved above expected over the last 10 games. While he could be the best available goalie, the Penguins are unlikely to move him unless they receive an offer of at least a second-round pick plus another asset, preferring to roll with him and Silovs for their playoff push given his extensive playoff experience.
