Darius Garland Debuts for Clippers with 12 Points, Endures Collision
Darius Garland made his Los Angeles Clippers debut Monday night against the Golden State Warriors, scoring 12 points in nearly 23 minutes off the bench. The two-time All-Star, acquired from the Cavaliers, played on a minutes restriction after being sidelined since Jan. 14 with a grade 1 right big toe sprain. He went down with 1:26 left in the second quarter after a collision with Moses Moody but remained in the game. The Clippers secured a 114-101 victory. Garland averaged 18 points, 6.9 assists, and 2.4 rebounds in 26 games this season before the trade.
