Trae Young Ejected from Bench, Set for Wizards Debut Thursday Under Restriction
Washington Wizards guard Trae Young was ejected from the bench during Monday's loss to the Rockets after leaving the bench to argue with an official during an on-court altercation. Young, acquired in January, made light of the situation on social media, promising "energy & competitiveness" for his debut. He is still slated to make his Wizards debut Thursday against the Jazz, returning from knee and quadriceps injuries that sidelined him since Dec. 27. Coach Brian Keefe confirmed Young will be on a 17-20 minute restriction. He averaged 19.3 points and 8.9 assists in 10 games with Atlanta this season.
