Nikola Jokić Records Triple-Double Amidst On-Court Altercation with Lu Dort

Nikola Jokić posted a triple-double with 23 points (9-25 FG), 17 rebounds, and 14 assists in Friday's 127-121 overtime loss to the Thunder. The game saw tempers flare when Jokić angrily confronted Lu Dort after Dort appeared to intentionally trip him, leading to a scrum and offsetting technical fouls for Jokić and Jaylin Williams. Dort was ejected with a Flagrant 2 foul. Jokić, who had been initiating contact throughout the game, stated, "It’s an unnecessary move and a necessary reaction" regarding the incident. Coach David Adelman supported Jokić's reaction, noting he often gets physical treatment without calls. Jokić also received an early technical after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander threw the ball at him.
