Gustavsson Exits Game Ill After Stellar 44-Save Performance

Minnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson exited Thursday's game against the Avalanche late in the third period due to illness, despite stopping 44 of 45 shots in a winning effort. His impressive performance at less than 100 percent health contributed to the Wild's 5-2 victory and improved his record to 17-2-4 in his past 23 games. Gustavsson is expected to be on the bench Friday, with Jesper Wallstedt likely starting in net.
