Vince Williams diagnosed with season-ending torn left ACL
Utah Jazz guard Vince Williams has been diagnosed with a torn left ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season. An MRI on Tuesday confirmed the diagnosis, with his absence likely extending into the 2026-27 season. Williams sustained the injury Monday night after a collision with Rockets' Tari Eason, an "away-from-the-ball play" that Jazz coach Will Hardy called "not basketball." Eason later apologized. Williams had averaged 7.5 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.9 rebounds in 40 appearances this season between the Grizzlies and Jazz.
