Deni Avdija Exits Game with Aggravated Back Injury, Status Questionable

Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard Deni Avdija exited Sunday's game against the Suns less than a minute into the contest after aggravating a lower back injury he's been battling for weeks. He was initially available but did not return, making his status for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves questionable. Avdija had been a key contributor, averaging 25.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists, and 2.2 triples per game, with Scoot Henderson, Jerami Grant, and Sidy Cissoko expected to see increased minutes.
