Canucks Prospect Jonathan Lekkerimäki Out for Season After Shoulder Surgery

Vancouver Canucks prospect Jonathan Lekkerimäki is reportedly set to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery for the 2025–26 campaign. Despite the setback, Lekkerimäki had a strong season, recording 13 goals and 7 assists in 21 AHL games with the Abbotsford Canucks, alongside 2 goals and 1 assist in 13 NHL games. His season was marred by earlier injuries, including leaving a game on October 19 and missing time in late December/early January, culminating in this latest surgery.
