Jared McCain Explodes for Season-High 21 Points in Thunder Win

Jared McCain logged a season-high 21 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, and one steal across 23 minutes in Friday's 105-86 win over the Nets. After a slow first half, McCain capitalized on increased second-half minutes to reach 20-plus points for only the second time this season. The second-year guard has now scored in double figures and hit multiple three-pointers in three consecutive games, making a strong case for a meaningful role even when Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen) and Ajay Mitchell (abdomen) return.
