Mikal Bridges Benched Again in Knicks' Disappointing Loss

Mikal Bridges was benched for the final 9.5 minutes of the Knicks' 126-111 loss to the Pistons, with Landry Shamet receiving playing time instead. Bridges, acquired for five first-round picks and signed to a $150 million extension, scored only 8 points in 25 minutes, including 0-for-3 from three-point range. This marks another instance of him being sidelined in crunch time, having also been benched in recent wins against the Sixers and Lakers.
